Albert Barnes Commentary 1 Corinthians 14:31

"For ye all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be exhorted;" — 1 Corinthians 14:31 (ASV)

For you may all prophesy, etc. There is time enough for all; there is no need to speak in confusion and disorder. Every person may have an opportunity to express their views at the proper time.

That all may learn. This should be done in such a way that there may be edification. This might be done if they speak one at a time in their proper order.
