"And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel." — 1 Kings 14:19 (ASV)

The wars of Jeroboam may be divided into:

1. His wars with Rehoboam (see 1 Kings 14:25 and 1 Kings 14:30).
2. His war with Abijam (see the marginal reference).
