Albert Barnes Commentary 1 Peter 5:14

"Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be unto you all that are in Christ." — 1 Peter 5:14 (ASV)

Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. A kiss of love; a common method of affectionate salutation in the times of the apostles. (See Barnes on Romans 16:16).

Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. That are true Christians. (See Barnes on Ephesians 6:23; Philippians 4:7).
