Albert Barnes Commentary 2 Chronicles 24:13

"So the workmen wrought, and the work of repairing went forward in their hands, and they set up the house of God in its state, and strengthened it." — 2 Chronicles 24:13 (ASV)

They set the house of God in his state — Some prefer, “they set up the house of God in its (old) measure” or “proportions.”
