"But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem." — 2 Chronicles 32:25 (ASV)
His heart was lifted up — Hezekiah’s pride was shown when he unnecessarily displayed his treasures to the ambassadors from Babylon (2 Kings 20:13).
There was wrath upon him — Compare the account in 2 Kings 20:17–18.
