"And he said, Go and see where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan." — 2 Kings 6:13 (ASV)

Dothan - See the marginal reference note. It was not far from Shechem. Its ancient name is still attached to a distinctive hill, or Tel (compare 2 Kings 6:17), from the foot of which a copious fountain rises.
