Albert Barnes Commentary 2 Samuel 6:8

"And David was displeased, because Jehovah had broken forth upon Uzzah; and he called that place Perez-uzzah, unto this day." — 2 Samuel 6:8 (ASV)

Displeased - Grief allied with anger seems to be the intended meaning. Compare the note on 1 Samuel 15:11. Regarding the name of the place, compare 2 Samuel 5:20.
