"Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:" — Acts 13:38 (ASV)

Let it be known, etc. Paul, having proved his resurrection and shown that he was the Messiah, now states the benefits that were to be derived from his death.
