"And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in." — Acts 5:7 (ASV)

And it was about the space, etc. As Sapphira had been no less guilty than her husband, so it was ordered, in the Providence of God, that the same judgment should come upon both.
