"and he hath seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight." — Acts 9:12 (ASV)
And hath seen in a vision, etc. When this was shown to Saul, or how, is not recorded. The vision was shown to Saul to assure him when he came that he was no impostor. He was thus prepared to receive consolation from this disciple. He was even apprized of his name that he might be more confirmed.
