"I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live." — Ecclesiastes 3:12 (ASV)

In them - i.e., in the sons of men.

To do good - In a moral sense. Physical enjoyment is referred to in Ecclesiastes 3:13.
