"And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omerful of manna therein, and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept throughout your generations." — Exodus 16:33 (ASV)

A pot - The word here used occurs in no other passage. It corresponds in form and use to the Egyptian word for a casket or vase, in which oblations were presented.
