"And I will thrust thee from thine office; and from thy station shalt thou be pulled down." — Isaiah 22:19 (ASV)

And from thy state - From your office; your place of trust and responsibility.

Shall he pull thee down - That is, “God” shall do it. The prophet here uses the third person instead of the first. Such a change of person is very common in the writings of the prophets (see Stuart’s “Hebrew Grammar” 563-565, sixth edition).
