Albert Barnes Commentary Isaiah 32:11

"Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon your loins." — Isaiah 32:11 (ASV)

Strip ye, and make ye bare - That is, take off your joyful and splendid clothing, and put on the garments of mourning, indicative of a great calamity.
