Albert Barnes Commentary Isaiah 65:9

"And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there." — Isaiah 65:9 (ASV)

And I will bring forth a seed - I will give descendants to Jacob, who will share my favor and repossess the land.

An inheritor of my mountains - The mountains of Palestine - Jerusalem and the vicinity - called the mountains of God because he claimed that land as his special residence, and the place where his holy religion was established.

And mine elect - Those who have been chosen by me to maintain my religion in the world.
