Albert Barnes Commentary Jeremiah 35:13

"Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Go, and say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith Jehovah." — Jeremiah 35:13 (ASV)

Jeremiah, accompanied by the main body of the Rechabites, went into one of the courts of the temple, and there addressed the following rebuke to the people.
