"I know his wrath, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing." — Jeremiah 48:30 (ASV)

But it shall not be so - Most commentators translate, I know, says Jehovah, his arrogance, and the emptiness of his boastings; they have produced emptiness.
