Albert Barnes Commentary Jeremiah 52:11

"And he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death." — Jeremiah 52:11 (ASV)

Put him in prison ... - Not found in 2 Kings, for in the contemporaneous history, only what befell Zedekiah at Riblah would be known. It was no doubt added by the same hand that inserted the account of the deportations to Babylon.
