Albert Barnes Commentary Job 22:28

"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; And light shall shine upon thy ways." — Job 22:28 (ASV)

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee - You shall form a purpose or plan, and it shall not be frustrated. It shall not be opposed by the events of divine Providence, but whatever you undertake shall prosper.

And the light shall shine upon thy ways - You shall be prospered in all things, instead of being overtaken with calamity.
