"I was eyes to the blind, And feet was I to the lame." — Job 29:15 (ASV)
I was eyes to the blind — An exceedingly beautiful expression, whose meaning is obvious. He became their counselor and guide.
And feet was I to the lame — I assisted them and became their benefactor. I did for them, in providing a support, what they would have done for themselves if they had been in sound health.
