SCRIPTURE

"Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your reasonings, Whilst ye searched out what to say." — Job 32:11 (ASV)

I listened carefully to your arguments - Margin, “understandings.” The meaning is that he had paid the most respectful attention to the views they had expressed, implying that he had been present all along and had listened to the debate.

While you searched out what to say - Margin, as in Hebrew, words. It is implied here that they had paid close attention to what they had said. They had carefully sought out all the arguments available to them to refute Job, and had still been unsuccessful.
