Albert Barnes Commentary Lamentations 3:52

"They have chased me sore like a bird, they that are mine enemies without cause." — Lamentations 3:52 (ASV)

Or, “They who without cause are mine enemies have hunted me sore like a bird.” Probably the prophet is speaking of his personal sorrows.
