Albert Barnes Commentary
"Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick [flesh] of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white;" — Leviticus 13:24 (ASV)
The sense of this verse is: “Or if there is flesh of which the skin has been affected by severe inflammation, and the sore of the inflammation has become a glossy spot, somewhat reddish or white.”
