SCRIPTURE

"Neither from the hand of a foreigner shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, there is a blemish in them: they shall not be accepted for you." — Leviticus 22:25 (ASV)

A stranger’s hand - The word, rendered here as “stranger,” is not the same as the one in Leviticus 22:10 and Leviticus 22:18. It literally means “the son of the unknown.” It probably refers to one dwelling in another land who desired to show respect to the God of Israel. See 1 Kings 8:41.
