"And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which one shall offer unto Jehovah." — Leviticus 7:11 (ASV)

See (Leviticus 3:1–17). What is added here relates to the accompanying מנחה (mı̂nchāh) (Leviticus 2:1), to the classification of peace-offerings into:

1. Thank-offerings,
2. Vow-offerings, and
3. Voluntary-offerings;

and also to the conditions that the worshiper must observe when eating the flesh.
