SCRIPTURE

"And they come to Jericho: and as he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the way side." — Mark 10:46 (ASV)

Verse 46. Blind Bartimaeus. Matthew says there were two. Mark mentions only one, though he does not deny that there was another. He mentions this man because he was well known—Bartimaeus, THE blind man.
