SCRIPTURE

"And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague." — Mark 5:34 (ASV)

Daughter. A word of kindness, tending to inspire confidence and dissipate her fears.

Be whole. That is, continue to be whole, for she was already cured.

Of thy plague. Your disease; literally, your scourge. So a word from Jesus heals the moral malady of the sinner.
