SCRIPTURE
"And Jesus went out thence, and withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon." — Matthew 15:21 (ASV)
The coasts of Tyre and Sidon. These cities were on the sea-coast or shore of the Mediterranean (see Barnes on Matthew 11:21).
He went there for the purpose of concealment (Mark 7:24), perhaps still to avoid Herod.
