Albert Barnes Commentary Matthew 26:35

"Peter saith unto him, Even if I must die with thee, [yet] will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples." — Matthew 26:35 (ASV)

Will I not deny thee. Will not deny my connection with you, or that I knew you. All the disciples said the same thing, and all fled at the approach of danger, forsaking their Master and Friend, and practically denying that they knew him (Matthew 26:56).
