Albert Barnes Commentary Nehemiah 11:25

"And as for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt in Kiriath-arba and the towns thereof, and in Dibon and the towns thereof, and in Jekabzeel and the villages thereof," — Nehemiah 11:25 (ASV)

Kirjath-arba - that is, Hebron. In the absence of the Hebrews during the captivity, the place had recovered its old name (Joshua 15:13).
