Albert Barnes Commentary Proverbs 11:21

"[Though] hand [join] in hand, the evil man shall not be unpunished; But the seed of the righteous shall be delivered." — Proverbs 11:21 (ASV)

Literally, “hand to hand.” Its meaning is, “Hand may pledge faith to hand, people may confederate for evil, yet punishment will come at last;” or “From hand to hand, from one generation to another, punishment will descend on the evildoers.”
