"The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge." — Proverbs 18:15 (ASV)

With the wise and prudent there is no loss of time. “Heart” and “ear”—the mind working within, or gathering from outside materials for its thought—are, through this channel or that, always gaining knowledge.
