SCRIPTURE

"The fear of Jehovah [tendeth] to life; And he [that hath it] shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil." — Proverbs 19:23 (ASV)

Shall abide satisfied - Better, one who is satisfied has a secure abiding-place. The word “abide” has, most probably, here as elsewhere, its original sense of “passing the night.” Even in the hour of darkness he will be free from fear.
