SCRIPTURE

"Put away from thee a wayward mouth, And perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Make level the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established." — Proverbs 4:24-26 (ASV)

Speech turned from its true purpose, the wandering eye that leads on to evil, action hasty and inconsiderate, are the natural results when we do not above all keeping keep our heart (Proverbs 4:23).
