"He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance;" — Psalms 105:21 (ASV)

He made him lord of his house (Genesis 41:40). This implied that the administration of the affairs of the nation was virtually committed to him.

And ruler of all his substance. The margin, as in Hebrew, indicates “possession,” that is, all he had. He placed all at his disposal in the affairs of his kingdom.
