"Jehovah preserveth all them that love him; But all the wicked will he destroy." — Psalms 145:20 (ASV)

The Lord preserveth all them that love him - He keeps them; watches over them; defends them; makes them the object of his care. See notes on Psalm 31:20, Psalms 31:23, and Psalm 97:10.

But all the wicked will he destroy - All who are found ultimately to be wicked; all who on the final trial deserve to be classed with the wicked. See notes on Psalm 9:17, Psalms 11:6, and Matthew 25:46.
