Albert Barnes Commentary Psalms 146:10

"Jehovah will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Jehovah." — Psalms 146:10 (ASV)

The Lord shall reign for ever - See the notes at (Psalms 10:16): The Lord is King forever and ever. Compare (Exodus 15:18).

Even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations - As long as the world will endure. There will be no change of dynasty as there is in human governments; but the same King will reign from age to age.

Praise ye the Lord - Hallelujah. The psalm closes as it begins. It is a call on all persons to unite in the praise of Yahweh.
