"And thou hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; Thou hast set my feet in a large place." — Psalms 31:8 (ASV)

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy - Have not delivered me into his hand, or into his power. See 1 Samuel 17:46; 1 Samuel 24:18; 1 Samuel 26:8.

Thou hast set my feet in a large room - In a large place. You have made me free, or set me at liberty. See Psalm 4:1; Psalms 18:19; Psalms 18:36.
