Albert Barnes Commentary Psalms 77:11

"I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old." — Psalms 77:11 (ASV)

I will remember the works of the Lord - That is, I will call them to remembrance, or I will reflect on them. I will look to what God has “done,” so that I may learn His true character, or so that I may see what is the proper interpretation to be put on His actions regarding the question of whether He is righteous or not, and whether it is proper to put confidence in Him or not. Or, in other words, I will examine those actions to see if I can find in them something to calm down my feelings; to remove my despondency; and to give me cheerful views of God.

Surely I will remember Your wonders of old - Your wonderful dealings with mankind; those acts which You have performed which are suited to excite amazement and wonder.
