Albert Barnes Commentary
"Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days." — Psalms 90:14 (ASV)
O satisfy us early with your mercy – literally, “In the morning;” as soon as the day dawns. Perhaps there is an allusion here to their affliction, represented as night; and the prayer is, that the morning – the morning of mercy and joy – might again dawn upon them.
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days – All the remainder of our lives. That the memory of your gracious interposition may go with us to the grave.
