Albert Barnes Commentary Revelation 13:9

"If any man hath an ear, let him hear." — Revelation 13:9 (ASV)

If any man has an ear, let him hear. See Barnes on Revelation 2:7.

The idea here is that what was said here concerning the "beast" was worthy of special attention, as it pertained to most important events in the history of the church.
