SCRIPTURE

"that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;" — 1 Timothy 6:18 (ASV)

That they do good (αγαθοεργειν). Late word (αγαθος, εργω), in N.T. only here and Ac 14:17.

Rich in good works (πλουτειν εν εργοις καλοις). See Lu 12:21 "rich toward God" and Mt 6:19f. for "treasures in heaven."

Ready to distribute (ευμεταδοτους). Late and rare verbal (ευ, μετα, διδωμ). Free to give, liberal. Only here in N.T.

Willing to communicate (κοινωνικους). Old adjective, ready to share, gracious, liberal again. Only here in N.T. See Ga 6:6; Php 4:15.
