"For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad." — 2 Corinthians 5:10 (ASV)
Before the judgment-seat of Christ (εμπροσθεν του βηματος του Χριστου). Old word βημα, a step (from βαινω), a platform, the seat of the judge (Matthew 27:19). Christ is Saviour, Lord, and Judge of us all (τους παντας, the all).
That each may receive (ινα κομισητα εκαστος). Receive as his due, κομιζω means, old verb. See on Mt 25:27.
Bad (φαυλον). Old word, akin to German faul, worthless, of no account, base, wicked.
