A.T. Robertson Commentary Acts 2:43

"And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles." — Acts 2:43 (ASV)

Came (εγινετο). Imperfect middle, kept on coming.

Were done (εγινετο). Same tense. Awe kept on coming on all and signs and wonders kept on coming through the apostles. The two things went on παρ πασσυ, the more wonders the more fear.
