"making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him" — Ephesians 1:9 (ASV)
The mystery of his will (το μυστηριον του θεληματος αυτου). Once hidden, now revealed as in Col 1:26 which see. See also Col 2:3.
Which he purposed (ην προεθετο). Second aorist middle of προτιθημ, old verb, for which see Ro 1:13; 3:25.
