A.T. Robertson Commentary
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father`s commandments, and abide in his love." — John 15:10 (ASV)
Ye will abide (μενειτε). Future tense of μενω, conclusion of the third-class condition (εαν and first aorist active subjunctive τηρησητε). The correlative of 14:15. Each involves the other (love and keeping the commandments of Jesus).
And abide (κα μενω). The high example of Jesus (the Son) in relation to the Father is set before us as the goal.
