A.T. Robertson Commentary Luke 12:9

"but he that denieth me in the presence of men shall be denied in the presence of the angels of God." — Luke 12:9 (ASV)

Shall be denied (απαρνηθησετα). First future passive of the compound verb απαρνεομα. Here Mt 10:33 has αρνησομα simply. Instead of "in the presence of the angels of God" (εμπροσθεν των αγγελων του θεου)Matthew 10:33 has "before my Father who is in heaven."
