"But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" — Romans 10:16 (ASV)

But they did not all hearken (ου παντες υπηκουσαν). They heard, but did not heed. Some disbelieve now (3:3) as they did then. On obedience and disobedience see 5:19; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Galatians 3:2. He quotes Isa 53:1 to show how Isaiah felt.

Report (ακοη). Literally, "hearing" (Matthew 14:1).
