Ashterathite. —Of Ashtaroth, a town in Bashan (1 Chronicles 6:71).

Jehiel. —Hebrew, Jeuel. Margin, “Jeiel.”

Hothan. —A misprint of the Authorised Version for Aotham. There was an Aroer in Reuben, and another in Gad (Joshua 13:16; Joshua 13:25).
