"for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve:" — 1 Chronicles 25:20 (ASV)

The thirteenth to Shubael. —The Hebrew is, to thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve; and so in the next verse. The meaning seems to be: as to, or as regards, the thirteenth. Shubael (Shebuel) has occurred before (1 Chronicles 23:16; 1 Chronicles 24:20).
